Special Programs

After School Care Program

Saint Andrew Catholic School Aftercare Program is available for students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. Aftercare is available only on days that school is in session. Please click here to download the Aftercare application.

Aftercare Fees:

Registration Fee – $35.00 per child.
Monthly Fee – $265.00 per child

Payments will be collected September thru May and are paid directly to Aftercare.

Please note the following:

• All students must be picked up no later than 5:45pm. If a student is not picked up on time then at 6:00 p.m. a late fee of $10.00 will be charged. There will also be a fee of $1.00 per minute late charged.
• Your child will only be dismissed to persons listed on the registration form. If your child is going to be picked up by anyone else, a FAX or note must be sent to school prior to pick-up that day.
• If your child is involved in after school activities, please advise the Aftercare Director in writing and make arrangements with the activity facilitator to escort your child back to aftercare once the activity is over.

Exceptional Student Education

Saint Andrew Catholic School offers supplemental exceptional student education for students with average to gifted intelligence who are working hard to complete grade level activities. Saint Andrew Catholic School’s exceptional student education program strives to improve students’ basic, organizational, and executive functioning skills while completing grade level curriculum in a general education classroom. Teachers work with parents to reinforce these skills and instill positive attitudes towards learning.

Students who receive exceptional student educational services are in inclusive classrooms with accommodations. Saint Andrew Catholic School offers the following services through the Exceptional Student Education department:

• Supported Inclusion
• Supplemental Push-in
• Speech

The Exceptional Student Education Department works closely with Broward County’s Private Schools Services Office to ensure Saint Andrew Students have annual Individual Educational Plan (IEP) meetings, evaluations, re-evaluations, and receive services provided by Broward County facilitators.

This supplemental program is for students with mild specific learning disabilities and is not designed to accommodate the needs of students with severe learning or emotional disabilities.

The McKay Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

Saint Andrew Catholic School accepts the McKay Scholarship for students with disabilities. The McKay Scholarship is a school choice program of the Florida Department of Education for students with current individual educational plans.
